Padmini Healing Arts was birthed out of a deep prayer of reverence for the body - and healing for the womb & pelvic bowl.
Trained by both women’s health physicians and by those more focussed on energetic and emotional de-armouring practices - ceremonial pelvic tending is an amalgamation of my studies in holistic pelvic care, pelvic mapping and de-armouring - this work offers nourishment, devotion and safety to a woman’s core.
Pelvic tending has been a central part of my practice since 2017, and whilst taking some time away from offering internal pelvic work - I am feeling the rightness in sharing this devotional practice once again… weaving in my studies in holistic pelvic care with craniosacral therapy, mayan abdominal massage, postpartum care, birthwork and grief tending.
These sessions are a powerful way to get re-aquainted or more deeply in touch with your pelvic bowl, to clear out stagnation and invite more spaciousness, vitality and pleasure into our pelvis and womb space. This space is co-created, collaborative, with safety and reverence at the core.
We start the session by taking some time to drop in together, share intentions and create the container before moving into any touch.
These sessions involve whole body massage - in which we bring awareness to the heart-space, abdomen, uterus, ovaries and pelvis, bringing in craniosacral work to tend to the nervous system as we move through the session…. inviting deeper integration of any unwindings and unravellings through the entire body.
Any internal pelvic work involves a process of checking in for consent - as many of us have had experiences of not fully checking in with our bodies- this is an opportunity for re-patterning and learning to really discern a clear yes or no from our bodies.
This work is also powerful for supporting the unravelling of holding patterns from medical, sexual or other experiences that may have involved us ignoring or overriding our inner knowing or being unclear about our boundaries. This can also be supportive for birth trauma, as well as ancestral patterns we may have inherited that are being stored in this space as pain, numbness, tension or emotions like rage or grief. This work is a safe space for trauma to be alchemised as we invite more safety, awareness and presence into the pelvic bowl through external and internal touch.
We do this tending slowly, inviting fascia, muscle and ligaments to find more spaciousness. We take time to support physical tension to soften, to invite energetic holding to unwind and for emotion that can be held in these tissues to have space to be felt.
I only offer this work with clients I have seen at least a number of times before… If you haven’t had a session before I encourage you to book in an integrative bodywork session prior.
We close the session with some grounding rituals to help bring all the pieces together and support you to feel anchored in your body.
Sessions are around 2.5 hours which includes space to check in before the treatment and debrief after the bodywork | $400
